Book Pile – A pile of books!

Book Pile – A pile of books!

IMG_2232For those who have been around my blog for a while, will know that my Book Pile, really is a pile of books! For every book that gets taken off the top another one gets added to the bottom (or is that three?). Recently, as my daughter, Bethany was helping pack up some stuff, i made a comment about not buying any more books as i had too many in my pile to read and some on my shelves that i long to read, but somehow never get round to them, due to the fact that i keep buying more. She declared, that this was a bad idea and that if i see a book I want, I should buy it regardless and that i would get to it eventually – eventually!?! She is right, of course, for your children often are.

So that photo is the pile i have by my bed at the moment. Some are borrowed from the library and some are owned. I probably have nearly as many on my kindle awaiting reading too. Then there are the loungers, the waiters, the sitting on the shelver-s, because i saw them and wanted them and brought them home.

  1. Kudos for having such an impressive and organized monthly reading list. Most of my books are all disorganized on Kindle, Audible and Ibooks, with the exception of the ability to sort by by title or author. The remainder, print versions, are organized by subject and easier to access when needed. I sometimes regret the transition, today. Thank you for sharing this post.
